Common Questions

Is iNgxolo Tactical Unit a law-enforcement or intelligence agency?
No. Our Corporate Forensics & Investigations division is a private-sector investigative service. We do not have police powers, cannot make arrests, and do not conduct intelligence or military operations. Criminal investigation and prosecution remain the responsibility of the South African Police Service (SAPS) and the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA).
Is your investigative work confidential?
Yes. Every engagement is governed by a signed mandate and confidentiality terms. Information gathered during an investigation is shared only with the client and any parties they authorise.
Can your findings be used in court or disciplinary proceedings?
Our investigations and evidence handling follow documented, defensible methodology intended to support legal, disciplinary or insurance processes. Admissibility and weight of evidence are ultimately determined by the relevant court, tribunal or presiding officer.
What happens if an investigation uncovers criminal conduct?
Findings are reported to the client in writing. Where appropriate and instructed, matters may be referred to SAPS. iNgxolo Tactical Unit does not conduct arrests or criminal prosecutions.
How does an engagement begin?
Every matter begins with a confidential consultation to understand the issue, followed by a written mandate that sets out scope, terms and fees before any investigative work begins.
Who can engage this service?
Businesses, legal professionals, insurers, and other private-sector clients requiring lawful investigative, forensic or litigation-support services.
